چکیده
The physical-layer security (PLS) of wireless networks has witnessed significant attention in next-generation communication systems due to its potential toward enabling protection at the signal level dense network environments. growing trends smart mobility via sensor-enabled vehicles are transforming today's traffic environment into Internet Vehicles (IoVs). Enabling PLS for IoVs would be a development considering vehicular near future. In this context, article presents framework consisting legitimate receiver and an eavesdropper, both under effect interfering vehicles. double-Rayleigh fading channel is used capture within channel. performance analyzed terms average secrecy capacity (ASC) outage probability (SOP). We present standard expressions ASC SOP alternative forms, facilitate analysis respective moment generating function (MGF) characteristic joint interferer statistics. Closed-form MGFs functions were obtained Monte Carlo simulations provided validate results. Approximate also provided, easier insight parameters. results attest that considered system was affected by number as well their distances. It demonstrated closely correlates with uncertainty eavesdropper's vehicle location.

متن کاملPhysical Layer Security Issues
Conventional wired networks are subject to being tapped by a variety of means, whether copper or fiber connections are used. In addition, methods of network snooping exist that make such eavesdropping minimally invasive, but no less significant. Wireless networking has additional characteristics that also decrease physical network security. As new technologies emerge, the potential for loss of ...
متن کاملWireless Physical Layer Security
Security in wireless networks has traditionally been considered to be an issue to be addressed separately from the physical radio transmission aspects of wireless systems. However, with the emergence of new networking architectures that are not amenable to traditional methods of secure communication such as data encryption, there has been an increase in interest in the potential of the physical...
متن کاملSecurity at the Internet Layer
43 I nternet Protocol, version 6, was conceived with two main goals: increase address space and improve security, relative to IPv4. 1 The community achieved the first goal by increasing the IP address length from 32 bits to 128 bits. To meet the second goal, the Internet Engineering Task Force chartered the IP Security Working Group to design a security architecture and corresponding protocols ...
